It is unlcear whether the artifact type in the original text was intended as a joke or not. Colored artifacts did not exist in 1999, and Target Target’s ability is not phrased like an “enters the battlefield” triggered ability.

As it seemed to best fit for the apparent function of the card, it was erratad to be an instant instead, and given a “until end of turn” clause for its ability to fit.
