This fantasy card was made at a point where basic lands had no basic supertype or basic land types to distinguish themselves, so it is difficult to say whether this was intended to be another basic land or just a nonbasic land with a suspiciously similar name to an existing basic land.
On balance, this was deemed to not be worth fixing, as it is a confusing card both in terms of issuing it accurate errata and player interpretation. In addition, it is a joke card which doesn’t really bring anything new to the table.
