After Corwin of Amber’s second ability resolves, regeneration shields don’t work on Corwin of Amber for the remainder of the turn. This includes shields from Corwin of Amber’s first ability as well as shields from other sources.
Corwin of Amber’s first ability may still be activated after its second ability has resolved, and will add additional shields, but these will not be applied if Corwin of Amber would be destroyed this turn.
