If an Egg or Alien Drone dies in a combat phase before combat damage is dealt, it will no destroy creatures it is blocked or blocking.
If an Egg or Alien Drone dies outside of a combat phase, its triggered ability will do nothing.

Creature — Alien,: Put a 0/1 Egg token into play. If Egg token receives lethal combat damage, destroy all creatures that dealt that damage and out a 3/1 Alien Drone token into play. If Alien Drone token receives lethal combat damage, destroy all creatures that dealt that damage.
