Ol’ Buzzbark is a well-designed card and would be great as the commander for a die-rolling deck. However, as a dexterity card, he unfortunately falls foul of the UnCommander philosophy. There is the possibility of players putting all their creatures underneath their lands in anticipation of Ol’ Buzzbark entering the battlefield, and other unsporting behavior. This can lead to wasted time for everyone and make it frustrating to play with Ol’ Buzzbark. It’s hard to enforce this sort of thing in the rules. As Ol’ Buzzbark is a dexterity card, his impact is dictated by rather arbitary factors, such as the size of playing area.
