The cards on top of players’ libraries are also still considered to be in their libraries and revealed. Effects that put the top cards of libraries into other zones will still affect them.

If a noninstant, nonsorcery card becomes the top card of a library, it is not treated as entering the battlefield for triggered abilities or other effects that care about permanents entering the battlefield, but is now considered to be on the battlefield. This means that aura cards revealed this way are not put into their owner’s graveyard, as the requirement for them to attach to legal targets as they enter the battlefield does not apply. However, if the revealed card is moved to any zone other than the battlefield or the top card of a library, for instance by being drawn, it is treated as leaving the library but will not be treated as leaving the battlefield (although it will no longer be on the battlefield).

If a card on the top of a library is also on the battlefield, it functions normally as a permanent, so can attack/block, be tapped, have permanents attached to it etc. as normal. If another player gains control of it, it still remains the top card of the same library. It is recommended to keep that card is physically kept on top of the library, if possible, to avoid confusion.

If an effect would put a nontoken permanent on the top of a library, physically put that card on top of the library. If the previous top card of that library was on the battlefield, it is no longer revealed or on the battlefield. The card put on top of the library is still considered a permanent and on the battlefield, and is not considered to have left the battlefield. In the very unusual case of a nontoken permanent being put on the top of a library other than its controller’s, it is still controlled by its owner. However, it is still considered part of the library it is in.

In every zone except the stack, and while on the stack not as an Adventure, an adventurer card has only its normal characteristics (715.4. in the official Comprehensive Rules). This means that if the adventure of an adventurer card is an instant or sorcery, that will not stop that card from being on the battlefield from Yet Another Aether Vortex.
