Staying Power’s ability stops “until end of turn” and “this turn” effects from ending during the cleanup step. This will only stop those effects from ending if Staying Power’s static ability is on the battlefield during that part of the cleanup step. See rule 514. “Cleanup Step” in the Comprehensive Rules. If Staying power leaves the battlefield, such effects will usually end during the next cleanup step.
Effects that refer to the “end step”, such as “at the beginning of the end step” or “at the beginning of your next end step” are unaffected by Staying Power’s ability and function normally.
This card, although interesting, makes it difficult to track effects. Certain cards, like Silence and Mindslaver, can abuse its ability.
