Abiding by that answer can include performing (or not performing) an in-game action until end of turn, such as attacking a player or not attacking a player.

If a player is not able to abide by the answer, they may act as they choose, unless it becomes possible for them to abide by that answer again, in which case they must do so.

If a question does not apply directly to the current game, the player being asked is not obliged to answer truthfully. For instance, if Frankie Peanuts’ ability is used to ask a player whether they brought their stax deck with them today, that player is not obliged to answer truthfully, as although the question may relate to other games of magic, it does not affect the current game.

A player is only obliged to abide by their answer regarding in-game actions. For instance, if Frankie Peanuts’ ability is used to ask a player whether they will go and buy a drink this turn, the player is not obliged to abide by their answer, as going to buy a drink is an action outside the game.

If there is any uncertainty among the players as to whether a question applies directly to the current game or the specifics of the question, it is advised to voice questions about these as soon as possible and to reach a consensus as a group before finalizing the question and answer.
