UnCommander Rulings

A creature can’t both be attacking and block at the same time.

During the creature’s controller’s declare attackers step, if it is legal to declare as an attacker, it is declared to be attacking its controlling player. If it does, it is treated as an attacking creature and during this combat phase, that player is also considered to be a defending player. They may block it, and any effect that interacts with combat or attackers will affect it as normal. The creature will also deal combat damage to that player if it is unblocked, during the combat damage step, as it would if it was attacking another player.

The effect of Evil Presents ends if the permanent leaves the battlefield.
