UnCommander Rulings

With Form of the Mulldrifter’s second ability, as you propose casting a spell from your hand (move it to the stack) you may declare that you are casting it as a Mulldrifter. If you do, that card enters the stack with its characteristics copied from the card Mulldrifter. This does not follow the normal sequence of how effects that modify the characteristics of a spell as it’s cast are ordered, see 601.2i in the official Comprehensive Rules.

Casting a card using Form of the Mulldrifter’s second printed ability replaces all the original card’s characteristics, indluding borders and watermarks. Mulldrifter has a black border and no watermark.
